Danger of addiction to sex robots: new study

Will you become addicted to sex dolls?

Expert warns of danger of addiction to sex robots

The world of sex toys has developed hugely over the last decade or so, but no instrument of pleasure has come close to a sex doll.

But an expert in the field has warned that sex dolls with artificial intelligence could become dangerously addictive in the coming years.

Joel Snell, a research fellow from Kirkwood College, USA, said there is a real risk people – particularly men – will become addicted to the dolls because they will be able to have sex at any time, day or night.

A sex bot will never turn their owner down, and they won’t even need to bond with it before they are able to have sex with it.

“People may become obsessed by their ever-faithful, ever-pleasing sex robot lovers,” Snell warned.

“People will rearrange their lives to accommodate their addictions.”

The suggestion is that sex dolls of the future will provide exactly the kind of sex a person wants, without the need to have awkward discussions with ‘real world’ partners.

Sex toys are increasingly popular, with sex dolls topping the price list.
